WAKOLDA is well-filmed and acted, and also very dramatic, but it would’ve been better if they had focused more on the “relationship” between JOSEF MENGELE and his pre-teen neighbor LILITH, and not so much time on the latter's school drama. Yes, I know that’s what drove her to him, but that was already clear in the beginning. The ending is anti-climatic. After all that build-up, MENGELE just gets away? I know that’s what happened in real life, but then they should’ve made a movie about all his years throughout Latin America, and then end with his death.

WAKOLDA está bien filmada y actuada, y tambien es muy dramática, pero hubiera sido mejor si se hubieran concentrado más en la «relación» entre JOSEF MENGELE y su vecina pre-adolescente LILITH, y no tanto en el drama escolar de la última. Sí, sé que eso es lo que la llevó a él, pero eso ya había quedado claro al principio. El final es anti-climatico. Después de toda esa acumulación de conflicto, ¿MENGELE simplemente se escapa? Sé que eso es lo que pasó en la vida real, pero entonces deberían haber hecho una película sobre todos sus años a lo largo de Latinoamérica, y después terminar con su muerte.

your reasoning is ridiculous. Why should they make a movie about all his years in South-America? This is not the goal of this film.
The story of this film is also not meant to be accurate.

It was just a suggestion. The point is that, whatever period they wanted to show, there shouldn't have been an anti-climatic ending.

Anti-climactic? That's life, many times, isn't it? Not even Marshal Matt Dillon caught 'em all, and not without good folks getting hurt and dying in the process.
