My favorite film of 2012!

I haven't seen everything I wanted to see yet, but so far this one's my favorite! I'm a Fellini fan and Italian so that might have a lot to do with it. Also I'm a sucker for anything Alexandre Desplat composes.

But this film is great. It raises some very important questions about human nature and what drives us as people and it does so without being too obvious about it and at the same time loving its characters. It's a great comeback for Italian cinema and just a unique film about stuff that movies nowadays don't seem interested in showing. At least that's how I see it.

For relaxing times, make it Suntory time.

My worst film for years.

I thought it was absolutely dreadful. I gave it 1/10. A completely pointless film and made me question how it ever got released and onto UK screens.

You can't have been watching too closely to call this film pointless. I recommend a re-watch. It's a fascinating film - interesting, brilliant cinematography and production design - I regret missing it when it was ever so briefly on UK screens.
