Whats the significance of this title 'A Cube of Sugar' ?

Watched it today. Being a huge fan of Iranian cinema, I was eagerly thrilled to watch this movie. The movie turned out to be just OK. (Not as awesome as A Separation, About Elly, Children of Heaven etc.)

Can any body explain the story and its title ???
