shareThey did indeed declare war on a glacier. Oh and by the way, that's some of the "good" writing in this movie. It's horrible. I like "bad" sci fi and disaster movies, but this one is one of the worst movies, ever. 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. :/
shareOh wow, if that's some of the best writing in this film(not shocking) then I'm very glad I don't plan on watching it, but sorry you had too :/
shareYes, bad writing, but no worse than your grammar: 'THEY'RE declaring war on the glacier'.
shareOh *beep* alert the online grammar police.
For making this post at the time that I did, I don't think I really care about one little grammar mistake.

'THEY'RE declaring war on the glacier'.Actually. 'Their declaring war on the glacier' is a perfectly good sentence fragment which is all you need for a subject. The difference is that the OP used "declaring" (belonging to them) as a gerund and you used it as a present participle. I admit that 'Their declaration of war on the glacier' is more likely how one would put it.
Watch 2012:Doomsday I laughed through the whole thing. Writing for that makes the writing for this makes it look like the Day After Tomorrow.
shareIt was one of many bad lines.
Its that man again!!
