Scum

Nice cheating on your devoted, loving and beautiful wife that is at home taking care of YOUR Son that you have together... Disgusting! Anyone that cheats is scum and should NOT be married, much less in a "supposedly committed" relationship. I see it ALL THE TIME!

While I know it exists out there, it's very sad that you see it "all the time". Perhaps a change of where you live or the people you hang out with would help?

Trust me...it's not the norm.

reply

Perhaps you should do a little research on divorce/infidelity statistics... Wow... I see you are clearly one of those people that do not pay attention to reality.

It would have been nice if she thought of their son when she purchased a car, ran up more credit card debt and decided not to get a job.

It's rarely one sided.

Weird film for me, I found myself gripped to the screen even though it was slow and nothing really happened. must have been good!

Bauer vs. Bourne, that is the question.

Ok I admit what he did was very wrong, but it's often happens that you get seduced by power and ad especially if you have attractive strong bos with you spend most of your work time.

But look at the wife. She raised the kid yes but once Pete got a raise she immediately started spending money and buy new car & stuff. Later when he got fired suddenly she mention how debt they have. I guess she was responsible for it (partially I mean there is suit thing too). It was obvious to me she didn't want to return to work that;s why she got pregnant. She liked the money Pete was earning but she did nothing to support him. I mean with his corporative earning they coukd get a nanny and with 2 jobs it would be easier but hell no better stay housewife and spending Pete's salary.

And when he got call from the agent he told her he might get a job for 100k look carefully what she did. He told her he want pursue his dreams and THEN and only then she reveal she knows about the cheating. He raise good question ask her if it was comfortable for her as long he earned cash and now it's not ? And the she goes all drama and she leaving him. Come on she wasn;t gonna leave him. Whole thing was manipulative act to soft him up so he would feel like a scum and take the job. She didn;t care about the fact he wanted something else. She wanted easy life even if it would cost happiness of her husband. And that makes me doubt if she loved him.

Boss was good one too. She exploited him big time. She seduced him, screw him over this CEO job, which she took for herself and after she made him fired she only called the agent to get him new job because she found out she was pregnant.

Overall truly feminist movie. I'm really suprised it was written & directed by guy.

Ethics? Not a big factor in today's films, or life in general. Go for the dinero.
Are we supposed to have some sympathy for any of these characters? Their lives are so hard? Give me a break.
Have you noticed that in these type of films, & sitcoms, they all live in beautiful houses, have at least one giant SUV, & they're crying the blues about their mortgages & credit card debt.
Contrast that to "The Honeymooners". The Kramdens lived in a tiny flat. The kitchen had a little table & a sink with one tap (cold water ?).

Yeah, times are tough these days.
