I really enjoyed this show...

I know the ending was a bit contrived but it still made me cry when they saw their family members.

I've done 25 mile hikes in one day carrying a heavy weight on my shoulders when I was in the Army, walked 23 miles in one day in high school for a cancer fund raiser and also spent 3 days walking 15 miles in the mountains on a Pioneer trek carrying a hand cart on my shoulders with 4 other team members because the trail was washed out. I KNOW I could never do what those people did going through the jungles of Venezuela. It was amazing to watch them conquer everything with strength of will especially Melissa. She held her own with the guys and never gave up!
