There have been plenty of same-sex friends who lived together on TV shows that never played the 'gay' card - "Laverne and Shirley" and "The Odd Couple" come to mind.
shareNew to the show, but I like it. Thanks to DVD I've watched the first three seasons over the past month. I am certain that Max and Caroline are married, or as married as broadcast TV will allow them to be.
shareIt would raise the ratings like the last Ellen sitcom episode did, but then get cancelled, too. It would even make the show funny again with lots of dirty noises in the same bed while the phone rings..etc. But again, only in the last episode, I think, when everyone's decided to quit.
shareThey should hook up and have the final episode them getting married! They make a hot couple and have kissed before!
