I loved Max and Deke and I felt that they had similar personalities as characters. I always thought it was bogus how she left him and that was that. I'm so sick of Randy plot line. They don't have anything in common. I'd like Deke back.

I don't hate Randy but I don't love him or even like him as much as the other guys Max has been put with. It was just so full on from the start and not in a good way. He also reminds me of Candy Andy. Not sure why =/
I want Luis back too. He was a fun character. They should get him as the bartender for Dessert Bar.

shareI found myself rooting for the connection between Max and Deke. It seemed a natural progression of the story that at least one of them would find a soul mate, if not both. But, to keep the original story line going, Max and Caroline have to be losers in love and success. So that gets boring. Max and Deke should have found a way to live happily together in their own way (not filthy rich) and either let the show end or find a way to keep it going with new and interesting story lines (like Big Bang Theory has been able to do so far).
