All of the girlfriends had the same personality

Anyone notice? Adam's gf, the girl they tried to set him up with, and Johnny's wife all had practically the same personality.

They were all on the quirky side of normal, easy going, able to cope with the Goodmans' quirks, and had a sense of humour to match the Goodmans.

Well I mean while it's true that "opposites attract" sometimes, I think for the most part people usually are attracted to a certain type, and that type usually has some personality traits in common with your family, since they're your model for what's "normal" in life, you know? If anything it's just good writing/casting.
