This was a really good movie

I watched this over the weekend on Netflix, which wasn't the smartest move watching this on Christmas Eve but I'm glad that I did.

It's been a really long time since a film got to me emotionally like this one did. The acting in this was brilliant, especially by Krysten Ritter. I was very impressed with her performance. You felt for Amy the entire time of the movie.

She gave up her entire life to take care of her siblings, both of which had massive issues of their own. I believe she is supposed to be around the age of 25. It's just a very sad movie, and I felt really depressed after watching it.

I don't know if this is what they were going for, but it felt like it was in Sam's POV. In the sense that he was walking into this house seeing all of this for the first time and trying to be there and deal with it all. As the viewer it felt like we were Sam in a way. I don't know if that makes sense or not, or maybe I'm not wording it correctly.

Overall this was a very good Drama, and when I say it's a sad movie I do not mean you were cry the entire time. It's not that kind of movie.

I hope since it is on Netflix and Krysten's recent success more people will start to watch this masterpiece.
