Episode 4 - Great Crossover Episode! *Minor Spoilers*

Murder House, Coven, and Hotel plus a great backstory for Michael the "alpha." My guess is that the next few episodes will be all more backstory explanation leading up to the bomb.

They haven't explained Myrtle being alive, but my guess is that she was resurrected a third time after they lost Queenie to playing eternal uno with James March.

Literally One of The Best Episodes Ever!

Got Chills when The Hotel Crossover came out on nowhere, So glad it didnt get leaked or there was no mention of it!

Things with Michael Is getting GOOD!

It almost feels like a completely show after this newest episode, I'm sure The first 3 episodes Will be important for the overall story, But Man I wish The first episode started off like this and we didnt get the 3 full episodes of BUNKER ....

We havent even got to Murder House yet

reply

Yeah, I think the 3 eps were key to subverting expectations. 1 or 2 would have been better for pacing. But I like where this is going. And I'm kinda hoping the devil wins. Not a big fan of female supremacy idea.

reply

Yeah Cordelia has become kind of stuck up since she became the supreme. And the the idea she has set in stone that a male can't be as strong with magic. I kind of get the idea regarding witches being more powerful being brought up since witches are more prevalent through out history than warlocks. Also I love the warlock school it was much cooler looking than the witches school. Sorry the test thing with the flowers was silly. And this is coming from a female.

reply

Yeah, the last thing I expected from Cordelia of all people was sexism.

reply

She's the fucking Supreme! LOL

BTW Cody is absolutely amazing.

reply

Well, she was anyway.

And yes, Cody Fern is great. He gave a stellar performance in the lackluster season 2 of American Crime Story. My guess is he will become the new male lead in future seasons of AHS since Evan Peters is leaving.

reply

I loved Cody Fern in ACS Versace.
Pity Evan is leaving. I didn't know.

reply

I'm LOVING it!! I hope we get some back story on Myrtle's resurrection soon.

reply

Me too. They have already provided a good, logical explanation for Queenie and Madisons return. To me, Mrytle coming back a second time thanks to Cordelia (while excessive since it goes against Myrtle's wishes to die) makes some sense since they needed to reconstitute the council after Queenie's death.

reply

very good episode/season so far. I do wonder how they will incorporate the Murder house cast into all of this.

reply

It will probably be a flashback origin story as to how Constance lost Michael to Ms. Meade, which will likely include another visit to the Murder House.

reply

Can someone please remind me how old Michael is supposed to be? He was born in 2012, and that flash forward in Murder House showed him at age 3 when he murdered his nanny in 2015. The surveillance of him killing the cop said 2017, so...he’s 5? And then in the present day of 2021 in Outpost 3, he’s 9?

reply

The answer is...unclear at best. And if you are relying on the AHS wiki page, don't. Anyone can edit that thing and it's largely filled with errors.

Murder House was actually set in 2011. He was born at the tail end of 2011 because it was Christmas time near the end of the season. We also know from Vivien's doctor's visits that he was growing fast, not to mention that he was born prematurely at only 6 months after his conception. But he didn't look like a premie. So I think we can clearly deduce that he was meant to mature faster than normal human boys.

Here is the other thing: In the final episode of AHS: Hotel, we see Billie Dean Howard in a flash-forward doing a special on the Cortez and the year is 2022. And there was no apocalypse yet. So my theory is that the present day is 2023, which would fit with the timeline of the whole series. It would also make Michael Langdon 13 years old; which is not only considered an unlucky number but an unholy one. Judas Iscariot the Betrayer was the 13th Apostle of Christ. That would be fitting for him since he betrayed the warlocks and the world when he set the end of days in motion.
