It's disappointing they're all in a bunker instead of out in the chaos

Granted, there have only been two episodes and they will probably venture out into the world eventually, but I was really disappointed the series so far has taken place entirely in a bunker. I mean, the first few minutes were actually really exciting - all the chaos - and then it was like all the tension was sucked out when they entered the bunker and have stayed there (for weeks apparently). It reminded me of when Fear The Walking Dead started and everyone thought, "Finally, we'll get to see the zombie apocalypse from the very beginning, how it all started and how the world fell apart" - cut to them living in a walled off neighborhood and on a fancy yacht.

I know keeping the theme for each season of AHS a secret is all about hype, but that might be why many people end up so disappointed every year - there's too much hype. You hear the word "Apocalypse" and see the obscure promos (and nothing else) and you begin imagining how everything is going to go - the chaos and everything falling apart and then 15 minutes into the premiere, they're all in a dark bunker, lit with candlelight, eating vitamin cubes and wearing leftover costumes from some purple version of Gone with the Wind.

I'll continue to watch, hoping it'll get better, but it's still really disappointing so far.
