Apocalypse in the timeline, and other characters

Ryan Murphy has stated he envisions Apocalypse as taking place around October 2019. With the pick-up for Season 10, we can assume the show will be airing in October 2020. Possibly beyond. If that's the case, I wonder if they'll then always be set in the past, ie pre-apocalypse.

And I wonder what other characters might show up. Potentially some from Hotel doesn't seem far-fetched.

I am envisioning it's gonna suck

this sounds like a very interesting season.

Despite what RM has said...this season has to be taking place in mid to late 2020's. If you'll remember, Billie Dean Howard aired a special in Season 5 in the last episode, which took place in 2022. And it didn't look like an apocalypse had taken place.

Not only that, but Michael Langdon was born in 2012, and was 3 years old in 2015 when he killed his Nanny. So technically, the anti-christ child should be 9 years old by now, but has the body of a 30 year old man.

Except they do. Ryan Murphy himself has said all seasons take place in the same universe. That's why we've already had crossovers, like in Season 5, which included Season 3's Queenie and Season 1's Billie Dean. This season will have crossovers with Season 1 characters and Season 3 characters as well. So yes, they have to fit into a timeline.

They have yet to show us, what the outside world really looks like... maybe it isn't all destroyed and the people in the Safehouse are tricked...

We will see when they start showing the Murderhouse and Coven crew.

reply

Well when Satan boy showed up on his sick horses the outside didn't look too livable.

reply

Yes, that is true, but doesn't have to be true for the rest of the USA/World... or maybe the whole apocalypse will prevented after all... time travel...

Or all future seasons have to be in the past or in the wasteland ;)

do you guys really think seasons have to fit into timeline with each other? I don't.. AHS has always been anthology series, every season is new story totally unconnected to the others... same actors play totally different characters, just because this one is crossover of some characters, doesn't mean things need to completely add up with other seasons, it's not a sequel and this show was never made like that

reply

Its a well known fact that all the seasons are connected somehow. Even Ryan Murphy has stated this.

There alot of articles listing all the connections.
