I loved the first 3 seasons but for me it's gone downhill since and I didn't watch Hotel. The first episode of this season was boring. It wasn't well acted, Sarah Paulson doesn't seem into it and Evan Peters did a poor job.

I actually really liked the first episode even though that doesn't seem to be the consensus I don't think for just the first episode. I thought maybe I wouldn't like it because I am Canadian and it was focused on American election last year but I still really enjoyed it. I was just as shocked as they were when Donald Trump won, I never thought for a second he was going to win.
The episodes only continue to get better. I also have friends that didn't like the first episode but stuck it out and are getting really into it.
I watched all seasons of AHS, but I didn't liked the first episode of this season. Maybe, because I miss most of the regular cast. I'm going to binge-watch it once this season ends.
