Because its now pretty clear that it isn't really about who they voted for. Which is a relief imo. I thought this season was going to be about an SJW message but now they are highlighting the irrationality of all sides. He is indoctrinating each cult member for very personal reasons and uniting them under a general theme of exploiting fear to change the country. I mean we also know that Winter and the trainer voted for Hillary too. Presumably so did the gay cop and maybe the reporter.

But that line Ivy had, about how angry she is at what this country has become, what people like Ally have made it - that kind of rage takes years to build up. She IS in it with Kai to burn everything down to the ground to start anew.
That doesn't make sense to me, at least not yet.
