To remember such detail in those interviews, I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night.
They're probably not that accurate. Our minds fill in gaps in memory after a while. Even eyewitness testimony on the stand isn't that reliable by the time the case gets a trial.
On days where very significant events occur, minds seem to remember much more details about before then.
