American Horror Story Roanoke Nightmare twist!

Here is my theory on the twist AHS have teased for this season:

The 'real characters' being interviewed are actually spirits describing their deaths to Billie Dean, the medium from seasons 1 and 5. In the last season she had her own tv show where she spoke to spirits, even interviewing the police officer after his death. This would explain the presence of cameras, making it seem like a documentary.

Billie Dean is set to be in this series
All that article is is speculation. She is not "set to appear". Why spread clickbait lies?

You really don't get how an article that claims "American Horror Story hasn’t seen the last of Billie Dean Howard" isn't lying clickbait?

Not only is that article clickbait BS, but you couldn't even be bothered to make it clickable?

We thought we lost you. Welcome back.

I believe Mr. Ed the talking horse is as plausible as this theory. Just my two cents.

I think that would be too easy. I hope they don't go the Sixth Sense route.

It's like last season where everyone guessed who the 10 Commandments/ Se7en rip off killer was prior to it's revelation.

Don't hate on contrarians

I like your theory, because it explains how during what was supposed to be a flashback (with the "real" Matt and Shelby) I saw in the bottom left of the screen "dramatic reenactment". I was confused because I thought the parts with Sarah Paulson and Cuba gooding jr and Angela Bassett were the real deal. I'm confused and intrigued.

We learned from hotel that ghost can't be seen on camera ..so there not ghost..plus I doubt they gonna use the Billie Dean character again for a 3rd season..especially that they just used her in the season before this one

Why do television (and movie) creators feel its so necessary to advertise a twist? It leads to everyone trying to figure it out before it airs which inevitably happens and completely takes away the effectiveness of said "twist" -- Its not a twist if everyone sees it coming because youve been advertising it for weeks and everyones had weeks to go on and figure it out. Are they that insecure about what theyve produced that they feel the only way to keep people hooked is to say "just you wait! Big twist coming!" Takes all the fun out of it IMO.
