We can't explain something to you that hasn't been told to us yet.

1. People weren't happy with her leadership. They wanted to go back to England, but she said to stay.
2. I'm guessing the heart of a pig.
3. Her husband was the governor, so maybe he's the one who placed her in charge.

reply

they wanted to go INLAND, not to England. They were all starving to death, and besides, there was no ship to take them to England. The governor had gone back to get help. They thought if they moved inland, there was a chance they could find more food than where they were told to stay. Tomasin said they were not leaving their colony, and they turned against her.

Yes. There still are today.

They wanted to go inland to find food, she was in charge and didn't want to go so they went way overboard and put her in the mask to die.

When she basically gave up on life and started praying, she said "if I'm to be torn apart by a wild beast, it is your will." So it was the heart of whatever wild animal was chasing her right before Lady Gaga saved her from it.

3) They explained that she was The Governor’s wife and he stated that she should be in charge while he returned to England for more supplies. They were following the Governor’s orders.

Dude, it’s Beacon Hills.
