The Shining by far. The Exorcist is overrated.

Play with monkeys, put bananas in hidden places

I love The Shining, The Exorcist scared the crap out of me. I would say I think The Shining is better, but both are great in their own way.

I always say that they are the two greatest horror films ever made. Totally different in the execution (The Exorcist is graphic and in your face, The Shining reels you in slowly, and has very little violence.)

The Shining. The Exorcist scared me as a kid, but I saw it again in my 20's and it was pretty darn funny!

The Shining still has that creepy vibe, even after viewing it many times.
