Roanoke sucks!

I have loved each season of American Horror Story and its own way and I am grateful for the variety, but this season is just Dreadful. The same actors and actresses that I loved in past Seasons seem like they forgot how to act. It's not even close to plausible and seems like a cheap Blair Witch Project knock off. I still have 3 episodes left and I just can't force myself to watch this garbage.

reply

Agree!!

So don't No one is forcing you to watch it.

reply

Don't be silly, Dani. How is he supposed to complain then?

reply

I want to know why he thinks actors could forget to act, Gabe.

reply

I actually find that a compliment. It means that the actor is so immersed in a role that they aren't acting anymore; they're just being the character. So I don't see the problem here. 

reply

Yeah it worked for me. Even Taissa was better.

reply

Agreed. I feel that the entire cast had the first consistently solid performance since Asylum.

reply

Remember all the whining during the season when some of us said it really looked like the actors were having some fun with their roles? Hilarious.

reply

I'm sorry but I cannot understand that logic. How can an actor play a role without liking it or having fun? You could still be serious about it and have fun at the same time. I'll bet that Sarah had a blast playing Lana, even though it was arguably her most dramatic and demanding role.

reply

I guess hate watchers just want the actors to be having an equally miserable time.

reply

So why not watch Twilight?

reply

LOL. My lordy, I wanted to punch myself in the head with my mouse.

reply

I loved it. It's tied as my favorite with Asylum.

reply

THANK YOU!!!

reply

Asylum was indeed the strongest season the series has ever done, no doubt about it. Nearly every plot line seemed to make sense, the same cannot be said for Roanoke. My Roanoke Nightmare was going well until they revealed that it was all part of the staged TV show, well that explains the change in cast which kept us confused until the first half of the season.

Agree, it wasn't good. I was hoping for a bounceback from an also poor season of hotel which was more of an extended Lady Gaga music video. Might be the last season if they've run out of ideas?

reply

you suck

reply

So don't watch it. Simple.

reply

Don't watch it after you watch it? How could anyone know if they like something unless they watch it? What an intelligent contribution!

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Have you never heard of a time machine?
Jesus, some people are stupid!

Say what now?

reply

Hahahaha!! Touché Trutle.
Hahaha. You're funny. Haha

reply

The OP said he can't drag himself through the final 3 episodes so Ryan simply said dont. No different to what I said.

reply

OP said they can't force themselves to watch the last 3 episodes. So I said don't. Again, simple 

reply

It's not bad acting so much
as it is bad dialog/writing. I felt the same way with the last season of Dexter. It was a terrible storyline and worse dialog. I couldn't blame the actors if the writers, producers, and directors are doing a subpar job.

reply

I agree the documentary style was annoying me from the first episode but from episode 5 roughly I was getting bored and pissed off watching this. I had to think to myself a few times what is this absolute *beep* and what were the directors thinking when the format of all previous seasons was so successful and enjoyable. Hopefully they will cop on for the next season!

reply

You were getting bored and pissed off watching the show?

Were you tied down to a chair with the remote out of reach?

Less than forget. But more than begun.

reply

what were the directors thinking when the format of all previous seasons was so successful and enjoyable.

The directors were thinking this

how to direct their episode. The directors had nothing to do with how the show was written.
