Tamera not choosing Tia to raise Aden...

in the event that something happens to her and Adam. I know she gave her reasoning, but I can completely understand why Tia's feelings were hurt. Tia didn't hesitate to say she wanted Tamera to raise Cree. Also, I would have taken what she said about her parenting the same way Tia took it, even if she didn't mean it maliciously. I still like Tamera, don't get me wrong, but I just kind of felt where Tia was coming from.

I agree with you. I don't think Tamara was intending to make Tia feel like she wasn't a good enough parent or anyhting like that, but I see how Tia would take it like that and be hurt by it. I know I'd more than likely feel exactly the same as Tia in that instance. However, I do understand and agree mostly with Tamara's choice and reasoning and anyway she will have many more years to think about that and possible change her mind.

I sympathize with both Tia and Tamera. If i was Tia i would feel hurt too and a little pissed off. I basically tell you that you were the first person i thought about to raise my child and you say our mother would be first to raise your child? Yeah, a little insulting.
BUT i am happy that Tamara stuck to her comment. She apologized but she made sure to explain to Tia WHY she thought that their mother would be the best option. And in that situation you really can't do anything to make the other person feel better if that's how you really feel.

I can't. I think her hurt feelings were immature. It's like she asked Tamera to raise Cree just so Tamera would ask her to raise Aden.
