Is it just me or is Cap fighting thugs, villains and other Superheroes more entertaining & awesome to watch than any other Marvel SH doing the same?

Ironman using his blasters or Thor his hammer looks cool, but I'd rather watch Cap kick ass like he does on the ship and Helicarriers.

And though I really like CA:CW it had a more Avengers feel, while this movie's all about Cap (& the Winter Soldier), which is why I like it more.

To me, the closest I've seen Cap made "real" (voice, tone and physique) is from Avengers: EMH, but Chris Evans has done an amazing job and is now Cap, same as RDJ being Ironman.

I smell weakness!

Personally, to me it's because He's such a 'guy next door' kind of person. Even after all that he's gone through, he's still such a real person.

It's like you feel you could go up to him and talk to him on the street. He's that kind of guy.

His ideals make us care for him. His desire to serve and defend his country, his self-sacrifice, endear him to us. Plus, his movies feel more grounded and more relatable. There's no aliens or out of the worldness going on.

Just watching it again now. I always forget just how tight and well constructed this film is. Such a good film.

Yeah the first time I saw it I thought it was just passable escapism. Gave it 7 out of 10. I just re watched it and it was way better. Rose it a 9 out of 10.
