Am I the only one who LOVES Maya Rudolph?

So many complaints about how she is "ruining" the show or she "doesn't belong" but I think she adds a fantastic element to the show. Everything she does is hilarious and I love it whenever she has a scene. Christina Applegate and Will Arnett are such a down to earth and fun couple to watch. Their chemistry is amazing and even though Maya's character is over the top, I couldn't imagine the show without her.

Maybe I'm just a die hard Maya fan and want to see her in anything, but I realistically think she's fantastic in this role.

I think they could have come up with a different character for her but I definitely don't hate her. I think she's entertaining, my favorite episode was the third one and that one dealt with her a lot. The biggest problem is that it gives off a bit of a 30 rock vibe being partially set at a studio and having the main character behind the scenes, you know?

I don't understand why people don't like Ava? I love her, she brings a certain craziness and over the top factor to the show. Cracks me up "Traditional baby wallet" haha.

Yeah, I think her crazy antics really balance out the normal lifestyle of Reagan and Chris. I loved her car scene when she couldn't drive away after talking to Chris and kept pressing every button possible. "I-I'm confused!" haha

I laugh at her storylines more than Chris and Reagans. I think she makes this show super funnier. I am happy they put her as a reg.

HAHA! That's my favorite scene of Ava's so far, shows you she's never driven a car, lol. I love how she flirts with Chris (Will Arnett) because it's just so awkward."Oh Christopher!"

I love both Maya and Ava. So you are not the only one. She was great in Kath and Kim too :)

I've never seen her in anything before, so I can really only comment on her character. I think Ava is too over the top in comparison to the rest of the characters, and until last night, I hated her character. However, the last episode (episode 8) it felt like her character was toned down a bit, and I loved that. It was still Ava, but just dialed back a bit. I hope they keep her character like that.

I don't get it either. And I guess I like Maya Rudolph but I don't have a biased opinion on her whatsoever. Sure her character isn't believable at all but she is hilarious and adds a whole other dynamic to the show. I don't think it would be complete without her.
