A show with two endings.

Last season ended with Rumple's victory. This one ended with Regina's. The show was always about them two, ultimately. Despite story focus. It has produced an interesting "Choose Your Own Adventure" story effect, which is very fitting. I loved the first ending, last season. I quite liked this one. They were both very good. Last season, I loved that the Curse of the Dark One wasn't something that could be cured, but rather tamed. That is very true to life for me. Rumple, through hard work and sacrifice, got everything he desired. And he had to maintain his vigilance like any ruler must. It was the man's ending. This was the opposite. The new ending was a proper story book ending, filled with sunshine and roses for all. Regina fully recreated her greatest downfall as her greatest victory. Went from demon to angel. This is a fantasy, and for me, harder to believe in. It's a fairy tale to be be sure, but this was always a cynical show by nature. But, i'm a man, and that's where i'm coming from. New story elements were confusing and convenient like always. It was fun. It was a good re-finale. Did you desire to see Henry find a mom or find a lover? Good news, we got you covered. Good TV. I'll miss it.
