Regina + Jafar?

I apologise in advance if someone already posted about this, and I know that until now we only saw Jafar for a few minutes, but does anyone else have the feeling that he and Regina would be a great couple? Since Robin Hood is uninteresting and out of the picture anyway.
They're both villainous, fun and great actors. If the writers add some complexity to Jafar, it could be a thing.
Thoughts, anyone?
