Obvious answer would be you dont want him around you.
Okay I understand but you have a gun, you just fired at the other robber. You should be able to hold your own. Id call the police toget him picked up. Dont want this maniac back or free after commiting a crime.
Both guys had broken into her home. One armed with a gun, the other armed with a knife. She should have shot and killed the 2nd guy, without a doubt.
And remember, when defending yourself, and you draw your weapon, you shoot to kill, not to wound. Just try not to shoot anyone in the back.
Brains are good, especially when sauteed with carmelized onions.
I don't get why she let the second robber go either. She had every right to shoot him, he entered her home and was robbing her. Then she has to worry about him returning, she had every rights with in the law to have shot him.
