Does Anyone Actually Enjoy This Series?

I myself find this to be pretty refreshing when compared to other live action MK projects. But the reaction here seems resoundingly negative. To each their own, I was just wondering if I'm the only one who has enjoyed this so far.

Your not the only one but yes the majority have been let down, and now the director Kevin Tancharoen has moved on without any explanation. Its more than likely because Warner Brothers were fed up with him constantly letting the fans down.

Warner Bros. doesn't care about fans. If that were the case, they wouldn't have made half of the other MK abominations they did beforehand. I'm not saying this is the case, although I have heard it rumored, that Tancharoen wanted to take it to the big screen, but WB has been playing keep-away with it.

I'm not going to face anything, because I'm not making this up, I've actually been told before that they are going to do an MK film separate from the web-series, but they're being iffy about whether or not Tancharoen is the one to do it, or whether it will be a reboot or another sequel.

And the abominations would be the wretched Defenders of the Realm and Conquest. I'd lump in Annihilation, but that's more New Line's fault, being that they hadn't been absorbed into WB just yet.

Wow, well if that was really the reason Kevin quit then that just makes him sound like a completely selfish *beep* Like seriously. WB didn't want a movie so...Kevin just up and leaves just like that? If no film, why not just do a few more seasons to Legacy so he could at least keep his promises. Where were KABAL and GORO hm? He cockteased those two since season 1.

Kevin Tancharoen is a fat, selfish *beep*

I'm not saying it is, I'm saying it might be.

I do believe WB wants the movie, but I think the reason that another MK movie hasn't been made for over 15 years is because WB (with only a few exceptions) doesn't seem to want to leave any room for vision. That's how we got a lot of comic book movie disappointments.

No.

Overall, no. Some episodes were decent, and the series did occasionally have some shining moments. But it was pretty mediocre. It had low production values, and Kevin T. changed too much, especially in the second season. I was surprised at how awful Season 2 was. I assumed it would get better.

KT is just not a good fit for Mortal Kombat. I'm glad he walked away from it.
