One Question

What I don't understand is how all these people think these places they once loved are going to somehow go back to how they were before and people will live there and enjoy it again... but they never say how exactly thats going to happen.... like the asylum or salton sea... with no place for the sea to flow or be filled by, it'll never happen, and how would the old asylum ever become a place for health if the people who own it just watch it crumble around them and do nothing? It makes no sense.

My husband and I thought the same thing.
We also didn't mind the fact that people came and tore out the copper wire and whatnot. It might as well go to use rather than sit there forever.

Exactly... at least they're upcycling what they can... look at Detroit, it would cost billions to tear down to revert it to farmland, or a company like Google/Apple or the government could do the job and reinvigorate the nation, but the wealthiest don't want to do it, that is sad... it tells me no one really believes in America long term.
