Bryan didn't leave. He escaped. His blood was on the milk shoot, meaning he got out. He was effected by something, though.
Not sure on this one. Maybe this was John's mother, Sarah, who told John to let go, she seemed like a good person in all of this.
I'm guessing Bryan did, seeing as how she was his ex and her current boyfriend John was killing everyone.

1). Bryan ended up hitting John in the head, which allowed him to escape after he had his tongue ripped out. Which is why the milk shoot was covered in blood.
2). Not entirely sure but I have a theory. During the ritual thing, Bryan was shown to be possessed and we were supposed to think that he was the one doing the killings. Well, I think he was possessed by one of the people Martha Livingston killed. That's why he could make that screeching sound which caused harm to demon John. That spirit didn't want demon John to be released into the real world. Now, if Bryan wasn't possessed and it was all in Johns head....then I don't know lol. That's just my guess.
3. Remember when Michelle ran away after the ritual scene and no one could find her? I'm assuming she just hid there and passed out while John got possessed and started murdering everybody else. Or John put her in their so that the ending of the film could happen :)
In the recovered footage which was shown at the end, Bryan hit John after having his tongue torn off by John.
I think one of the explanations could be what Davonjohnson said, or John was faking it, hoping the police would kill Bryan (since he had conditioned the police over the fake story to make Bryan the fall guy). Perhaps Bryan's screaming was just an attempt to hurl vulgarities at John, since he knew he wasn't the one who took Michelle.
But honestly, i don't know. Bryan didn't seem possessed to me. More like disoriented from everything that has happened. Tongue torn out, in a car crash, woke up to someone (the police) over you. Fear, pain and pure survival instinct should more or less crippled his judgment.
Plus, if he really had the power to cause harm to John by throwing him against a wall over a walkie talkie, he should also have the power to open the door instead of escaping through that tiny space.
As to who hid Michelle. My guess is definitely John. During the chaos/murderings, Bryan barely escaped with his life. I doubt he had the time to do anything else.
Plus, when the detective found Michelle. She was bound and he also tore off a tape from her mouth. And John was the only person that ran after her.
