The exterior of the hospital was Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. The interior, however, was CERTAINLY not Rex. I worked there for three years.

Seeing how there were other patients there waiting to be seen I highly doubt Tru TV broke the law or talked a hospital into renting out an entire area why is it so hard for you to believe that a repo man who's job it is to take cars and trucks and bikes from desperate people got stabbed????

It's not theft because the people there repoing from DON'T OWN THE VEHICLE they signed a lease or finance agreement WITH THE OWNER OR OWNERS OF THE VEHICLE that's either A. the car lot it came from or B. a Finance company or a bank so no what Ron was doing is not considered theft in any way what so ever he was given PERMISSION FROM THE OWNER OR OWNERS OF THE VEHICLE OR VEHICLES AND SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THEM TO RETRIEVE THERE PROPERTY FROM SOMEONE WHO BROKE THE LEASE AND IS THERE FOR STEALING FROM THEM this is why repoing isn't illegal anywhere in America.

I don't know if they "broke the law' as much as "just hired actors". That is like saying that Marshall Dillon or Andy and Barney broke the law. Check out some of the earlier Hardcore Pawn episodes. They have "officers" respond, however they do not wear badges.
The show is 100% fake and staged, plain and simple. Incidentally, most hospitals would never allow cameras and a crew in their facility.

Why would a 100% real business that's been around for over a decade hire actors? why would a repo man need to hire actors? Do you honestly think some people don't flip out and act crazy when there only method of transportation is being taken away? Also Marshall Dillon and Andy and Barney were all actors on a STUDIO LOT lizard lick is a 100% verifiable business and has been for well over a decade now what maybe going on is called the Camera effect which is a problem with reality tv shows that use non hidden cameras where real people are profiled doing there jobs or living there lives and some people around them see the camera's and 'act out" for the camera's hoping to get camera time and maybe get famous or seen on television the producers and star's of these shows have nothing to do with it other then possibly being nice to these people and maybe giving them camera time to add drama that doesn't make any show or this show fake though.
Also most hospitals would in fact allow camera's into there waiting room provided they the camera team and producers sign releases and other paper work to prevent them from misusing hospital property or suing them for damage to camera or mic equipment they will not however allow them past the waiting room except for maybe special visitation.
