Bobby Brantley says on his Twitter account that he has been dropped from the show. Not sure what the reasoning is but apparently it is true. The show has went downhill anyway the past couple of seasons. It's scripted but now the scripts stink and aren't funny.
shareYeah, I know it has been scripted from the jump, but I still got a kick out of it and most of what I enjoyed was the Rob/Bobby interaction. I don't care much for Amy or Juicy.
Dropping Bobby sounds like a cost-cutting move to me.

If you think "Lizard Lick Towing" is the worst of the worst scripted fake reality TV, you obviously never watched "South Beach Tow" or "Operation Repo".
Bobby is the main supporting guy right? They will probably have to quit the show.

I agree. It was good (but of course fake) early on b/c of the fights, comedic bits between Ronnie & Bobby, the various repos. Now it is a lame soap opera (Big Juicy being a plus size model, Earl actually trying to date her?).
The past two or three seasons have been steadily going downhill. And if Bobby does leave it won't last long beyond that.
OP -- I always enjoyed Ron and Bobby's friendship. If Bobby's gone, then so am I. The rest of these people don't interest me much.

According to his Twitter posts (and Facebook) he is joining a new show next year and that he is done with The Lick as soon as this season is over. I hate to see it happen but that's show business!
