Scripted characters and storylines for the sole purpose of brain dead entertainment.

And as a viewer, once you get the joke, so to speak, it's actually pretty hilarious in small doses. It's 100% pure fake, just like the WWE, only without the restriction of having to take place in a wrastling ring.

Yeah but in wrestling you have to be a strong athlete with the cardio of an Alaskan sled dog and a death wish. Fake or not, not many people can be as athletic and also take as many bumps several days a week for years and years.
