Sorry, but I like this show and there is no way to make reality shows 100% real. You guys bitch about it but yet you watch it. The reason people look into the cameras when getting their vehicles reposessed is because the camera crew has to get permission to film them. This show is funny and the people they encounter are crazy. There are people put there that will agree with me on that. DON'T like is then DON'T watch it!

It is a good thing that people post negative views about the low quality crap these Cable Channels are palming off to the viewers in quantity.... or they might get the idea that are all satisfied with what the mindless tripe they offer us.
Not that they really care what we have to say here.. all these channels care about is the number of the 25000 Nielsen Viewers they can get to watch.. or have their TV tuned to the show and may not be watching.. to get all they care about- the Nielsen Viewer Number... note this is an extrapolated number based on some unknown math formula and is not really an accurate accounting of the actual number of viewers... but alas, it is the only game in town and the only one that counts.
If you want to see a "discussion board" where only one side of a discussion is permitted... the positive, gushing side, check out the HISTORY CHANNEL Board...
oops, sorry that's right, I forgot it's no longer there... it's defunct... out of business.
There is a perfect example of what happens when only one side of a discussion is allowed... after all the negative posters that were calling the Channel on their garbage programming were banned... all that was left was a handful of paid shills talking to each other about the weather.
So don't be upset about what negative things people say about a TV show... and I don't think there would be so much negativity if instead of the show being listed as "Reality" it was properly listed as a "Sit-Com".

I wouldn't doubt that Ron and Amy Shirley had the same last name (and parents) before they were married.

It's acceptable to criticize a show once, but when you've commented on it, stop watching the show and get on with your life. It's the people that consistently get on the boards of the shows they don't like on a weekly basis just to rant about it that i find inexcusable. It's a waste of time and energy.

Actually, it's a load.. as someone who does/has know/known a number of the "guests" personally.. Well.. it's not at all real. They ask the people if they will be on as.. guests? (and if they can tow their stuff for the show, obviously..) I hadn't watched until someone I'd literally known my entire life was to be on.. and suddenly he was a completely different person! He was on b/c he'd gone to school w/ at least one of the guys.. and suddenly he was a 'relative' with a different name and a 100% different life! It was shocking!
so, yeah... totally fake.
+PLUS+ it makes everyone anywhere near there look sooo stupid and I take great offense to that.. There are so so many incredibly bright, talented, amazing people around there.. sigh.

Considering that these people have and still do own and operate a successful repo company that THE SHOW IS ABOUT how can they be actors???? did tru tv do back in time and find actors to open and run a repo company with no major publicity for years before giving them a show????

I watch the show & laugh about it but I know it's fake. Yes, the business is real (they repo cars/trucks, boats, whatever). I just watch to get a laugh so just b/c I watch don't accuse me of being some country bumpkin who believes anything.

Ironclad Iconoclast: The thing with the cameras is they film the victims as if they don't know what's happening, but then all of a sudden they catch on and run to rescue their vehicles. That can't happen in real life. Here you have two camera guys in your face, your playing cards or whatever, and these two camera guys are right there filming you, as if life is just normal and every day, and then all of a sudden you hear a tow truck out front, and you yell, "Hey, what's going on out there?" Once you know that, it seems pointless to watch, unless all you want is dramatized soap, and you're ok that it's fake. Plus, all the fights are carefully choreographed.
I believe you meant 'but yet you WATCHED it'. As in seen maybe one or two episodes and know it's crap. I came here to say what a terrible show it was because I saw it. I do not and will not continue to watch it. Get it right.
