really?! *Spoilers*

First of all, this was a pretty good film (compared to other independent films where they make you stare at swaying grass for 7 minutes).

However, I have a really hard time taking in Carla's reaction to Bruno and Rai's affair. I understand they have been in a long term relationship, but for her to allow him to keep seeing Rai after she took him back is absurd. Did she have such low self worth that she would share her long term boyfriend with a stranger, even worst a male stranger? Where did she think that would lead to? Then she slept with Rai to annoy Bruno? Yeah, thats TOTALLY believable and mature...

Bruno on the other hand wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He listened to all of Rai's reasoning and manipulation and gave it straight to Carla to try and persuade her that being "free" and having independence is what a true relationship should strive for.

Rai was the devil in this film. He would take it anyway he can and had no qualms when it comes to his sexual adventures: he had nothing to lose.

I really wanted both Carla and Bruno to die in the end. It would've been perfect... Instead I was left with the visual delusion that the threesome relationship they have has a happy ending.

I just saw the movie and I really enjoyed it.

Carla's reaction to Bruno and Rai's affair was quite legitimate. At first she refused it. She told Bruno to never see Rai again if he really loves her, but when Bruno approaches Carla and explains to her that he just can't and that he needs to see him, she kicked him out of the apartment and out of her life. As the days/weeks went by she continued to be depressed. Bruno was a guy she was with since they were like 15 years old. It wasn't until she had that discussion with her friend about openness that she texted Bruno to come back. No one enjoys misery, so when he does finally come back, she is relieved and the first thing they do is make love. This would give any broken heart hope. Hope that everything can go back to normal and that she does have a part in Bruno's life. Then she realized again that sharing Bruno wasn't going to work out. She was always wanting to know his whereabouts and if he was with Rai. The only thing that could even this out would be for her to hang out and sleep with Rai. Maybe it was a way for her to figure out what is it about Rai, try to make herself feel more worth, or to get back at Bruno for continuing to see Rai knowing how much it is killing her inside.

I do believe Bruno wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He seemed to be very easy to manipulate, but people in general have a hard time falling for things that are enticing. Bruno was clearly wrong how he did Carla. And if I recall, he was the one that was jealous of her and was worried if she fancied other guys. How are you going to be with someone since the age of 15, and the first person to come and clean up your boo-boo you fall for so quickly? I bet this type of thing happens all the time especially in a long term relationship. We all have old things, but at the same time, we all like new things yet, we still want to keep the old things.

Rai was no good in the film. He knew Bruno had a girlfriend and he should have left him alone. But I think his feelings for Bruno were more than just a seduction game, because once he seduced Bruno, and things got complicated, he continued to want to be with him.

I would have also wanted Carla and Bruno to die at the end as well, but... Rai was talking with his friend Marie towards the end, he says that he loves them both. I believe his feelings for both Carla and Bruno were sincere. He wanted to be with the both of them and they both wanted to be with him.

Having a three way relationship is quite difficult, but there's no natural rule that says people only can be in a loving relationship amongst two people. You could very well love two people equally at the same time. So I am happy both Bruno and Carla lived at the end. There near death probably opened up Rai's eyes even more to how much he cares for Bruno and Carla.
