Eugenio is amazing, Im latina -from Dominican Republic, not Mexico- and I heard about the show in some media tour he was doing in some programs and even thou I dont like Rob S, Derbez sold the show to me.
The only laugh-out-loud moment I had in the entire half hour was when Rob was "apologizing" for not being who they wanted him to be, and Eugenio did the BestBuds sing with his hands, simply hilarious. He has a perfect comedy timing.
Too bad he ended in this so-so sitcom, but lets hope it works as a way for him to get known and get the right contacts so that he can work somewhere else with people that really know how to use his awesomeness.

yeah, he is great... I used to watch him in La Familia P. Luche even tho I barely know any spanish.

He is great indeed.

Sadly he is too old now and they probably just want to see him as "an hispanic guy" than for who he is.

Also a reason he had to leave mexican TV, was because they just didn't let him do much; due to silly arbitrary rules for mexican TV.

Guess there really are people who act worse than 12 year olds.

Eugenio is insanely talented. I was always really disappointed when his run of "Al Derecho y al Derbez" would end or be canceled, or whatever it is that would happen. He's so funny and endlessly creative. I've lost count of all the people I've talked to over the yrs about Eugenio!
I haven't seen this show yet, but I'm not surprised to hear people say he's great in it. He's just incredible & vastly under-appreciated! I think he ultimately needs to be in a project where he has creative control.
