I thought he was much better in this movie than he was in 'Silver
Linings Playbook' His Oscar nomination should have been for this movie
instead!
He showed a great versatility in this movie and he deserves the praise he's getting as he delves into some different characters.

After seeing him in Silver Lining Playbook, I became a fan of his. Never liked him in those Hangover movies (he is better than that hijinx). He proves he is an actor in The Words. Looking forward to his next dramatic film.
The Hangover was AMAZING! In fact, the first movie is what made me a fan of his.

shareHe was banal and simple. Not at all believable as even an aspiring writer. He comes across as an insipid pretty boy than a writer. Jeramy Irons is heads above him by comparison.
I can see why he got severe criticism on his performance.
I became a Bradley Cooper fan when I viewed Limitless. Loved that movie. I thought he was also good in Silver Linings Playbook and The Words. The guy is getting big and a good dramatic actor. If you notice in the credits of these three movies, not only is he the lead acto, he is also listed as Producer or Executive Producer. p.s. He is a Capricorn which explains his work ethic and drive to becoming a better actor.
