Triplets? Where did they come from?

Here's the weird thing about the stupid ending to this movie. If in fact there were actually three instead of just one 'bad guy', where did the other two live? The police kept saying there was one adopted boy who lived with his adoptive parents, and was at home with them during the times when attacks occurred. Having two other boys to do the attacking while one is at home does explain that part, but seriously, where did they come from? Under a rock? They are all in the same neighborhood and no one knows the other two exist? This was an okay suspense movie, but that ending fell short. The police report would have stated how she had crushed his hand in the door; wouldn't the coroner notice the dead guy had no hand injury? I think whoever wrote this screenplay seriously ran out of steam at the end and missed a lot of details. Could've been much better if there had at least been some speculation as to how this guy could be two places at once and etc., prior to just having the cop show up at the funeral and see the others. Disappointing. And by the way, where is the rotting corpse of her boyfriend? LOL.

Exactly! Triplets???! This movie was such a stinker. Would the police really think its ok that someone keeps breaking into your house? Wtf? And why would the car be hanging with the psycho boy outside the cat door when it clearly had people issues in general? That cat would be totally hiding. And yes where was the boyfriend at the end? And Rose McGowan just standing there not hitting him with the baseball bat again. She practically waits for him to get up and reload the cross bow.

The adoptive boy they were talking about was a decoy, he had nothing to do with anything. One of the triplets went to their backyard to confuse her, but he didnt live there.

What's really bad was at one point, during the scene where he had the signs on the side of the road and kept being ahead of her, I thought about that idea but I rejected it as being really stupid. Then when it happened I couldn't believe this movie 'went there'.

I mean they kind of set it up by saying his mother had several kids, but as pointed out how the hell does no one know the others are around.

I guess we're meant to assume that they each took turns living in the adoptive parents house and pretending to be the same kid but yeah where do the other two live in the meantime?

I guess in the woods or something. :)
