Rose, can we say plastic surgery

It took me the first 15 minutes of the movie and voice recognition to convince myself that it was actually Rose McGowan. Dear God, she's not that old, why on Earth has she had so much surgery it looks as though she can barely move her face?! Doesn't look good. All these celebrities don't realize they'd be better off to just let themselves age naturally.

I think Rose's botox lips got second billing.... lemme check the credits.

She had plastic surgery after getting into an accident that left a part of her face cut.

OP, I too found it distracting - and a little shocking. I've been a fan of Rose since I first saw "Scream" in the late 90s, and I'm a big "Charmed" fan. She used to be inredibly beautiful, but she's made a real mess of herself. And as you say, she's not even old.

She had plastic surgery after getting into an accident that left a part of her face cut.

This 'excuse' has been blown out of proportion. If I recall correctly, Rose was wearing glasses when the car accident happened, and she suffered some sort of cut under her left eye. I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure that kind of injury would require botox, fillers and collagen lip injections which she has quite obviously had done over the years.

You guys are idiots. She's almost 40, and she looks much better than most 40 year-olds. I personally think she looks better than in her younger days. If plastic surgery helped her, so be it.

You really think she looks better here:

Thanks for posting the comparisons sakura_droplet. I think she's beautiful, distracting, but still beautiful, but my goodness what a true beauty she was before the surgeries. I couldn't help but keep looking at her lips during the movie, you can tell in the last photo what amazing lips she use to have. Her face has changed so much. Still love this woman though.

You're putting a candid "non-glamour out and about" shot against a promo photo.

Give the lady a break. She had to have her face reconstructed after an accident. Even with the reconstruction, she's above average attractiveness and doesn't look like she's in her 40s. Her body is also phenomenal. I'm 26 and she's barely changed since I was a kid.

she had this pose where it looked like someone was taking pics of her for a magazine or something.

couldnt get over those lips. Very noticeable .

I wouldn't say she looked horrendous, but her lips were overdone. She looked so different it was so shocking, I didn't recognise her at first, and I was like "wait, isn't Rose McGowan supposed to be in this...then I looked twice and was like "oh my...god". Seriously, it's insane how different the woman looks.

Still she looks much better than a lot of women her age who get surgery done do. Her lips need to be let down though, they really ruined her look.

I felt the same way - she looks horrible. She was pretty before, but looks weird and her face is almost expressionless. It took me only 10 minutes to be certain it was her in the beginning...but only because I knew she was the main character and top billed.

reply

It's too bad - she's had from the looks of it a nose job, lip job (horrible) cheek implants. Why?!??

reply

Why? Because her face was badly injured in a car accident and she had to have plastic surgery to fix it. That's why, do you really think she wanted to mess with her looks? She still looks amazing anyway and people should really just leave her alone.
