The truth of Chris Torres...

I noticed something, and this is just a theory, but I have a strong suspicion that Chris Torres isn't a real tattoo artist. If you watch the show, he is never seen tattooing anyone. In the scene that supposedly endeared Megan to him he picked up her customer and led her to his station, but you never actually see him doing her tattoo. Also the whole story arc with him seems a little too well packaged. So I have a feeling that he is actually an actor brought in to play a villain character and add some drama to the show, but that's just a suspicion.

I see what you mean. Aubrey on L.A. Ink was never a real employee of the shop. She was planted there to create drama.
Chris could be the same thing....

I think that it could go either way but am leaning toward believing he is a real artist. The problem with Discovery is with all the stuff they pulled in the past with bringing in actors and getting the artists that were real tattoo people from season one into season two in an effort to spice up the story they managed to loose what ever credibility they had.

I don't know how true this is but I tend to believe these stories true about other people that when into the shop expecting to see the people they see on TV an the wind up seeing a bunch of strangers. I don't know what the truth is but I tend to believe the people that reported that the people we see on TV are only there when the cameras are running

Of all the things I have lost I miss my mind the most

I think he's a real tattoo artist. On his twitter he was super pissed about that show Tattoo School on TLC. He kept saying stuff like it was an embarrassment to real tattooers and what not.

Oh he's real, i assure you. He's just a regular tattoo artist. He's not primed for fame and fortune and he's used to the *beep* side of the industry. I'm not saying he's a diamond, because the dude's a douche. He is for real, though.
