Sometimes I just get sick of Morgan Freeman's face

Ever since Shawshank he's played the "Hey, I'm Morgan Freeman! The gentle friendly dude with the warm voice, and the loud but friendly laugh that everyone loves!" card.

This, like The Bucket List, should just be called "Hey, I'm Morgan Freeman!"

I agree with you but it didn't/doesn't bother me. I enjoy Morgan Freeman in anything.

This could be said about many actors today, his pal from Bucket List included. Morgan's face has many subtle nuances and I enjoy watching them change from scene to scene.

He was especially heart warming in Hard Rain. He played a crooked sheriff willing to kill anyone standing between him and three million dollars. But, I'm sure he probably loved puppies and kittens.

HA!

Love the title of this thread, but then, I love Morgan Freeman too.

I get the idea though. The man does seem to be more or less ubiquitous in film today.

Thanks for the laugh.

My dad met Morgan Freeman via a friend in common.

Mr. Freeman was very gracious and thanked my dad for his service and Daddy responded in kind. After a few conversations they realized they knew about of each other before he was "Morgan Freeman" through friends and associates throughout the Mississippi Delta.

The three times he was with him, my dad said he would stop and talk with anyone who approached him for autographs or just conversation. My father said that Morgan Freeman was a boy of the South just like him...they shared many ideas, Southern cooking, and a love of the Delta.

Daddy said that the biggest thing he noticed about Mr. Freeman was he remembered who he was and from where he came. They did not share the same politics, but respected each other’s ideas, thoughts, and philosophies.

I was already a fan, and this all solidified my fan-dom of Morgan Freeman. My favs are Glory, Driving Miss Daisy, and Invictus.

That's my 2 cents worth.
