I agree, this was quite charming and the leading characters had chemistry.
Morgan Freeman did an excellent job with the role. Anyone else would have made Monte a caricature, but Freeman was perfect.
Loved the clown scene lol.
Morgan Freeman elevates every movie he is in. In my humble opinion, he is one of the greatest actors who ever appeared in film. My absolute favorite drama is "The Shawshank Redemption", and I truly believe that the film would not have been nearly as good as it is without Morgan 's amazing narration.
