Hearing Phil Hartman sing the closing song made me smile.

First of all, it's definitely Paragon.
Secondly, Paragon was one of the few "Playhouse" cast/crewmembers to participate in the Broadway production due to guild/union issues. Considering all the people who weren't brought back I don't see them going out of their way to secure permission from the Hartman estate to use him singing. Paragon, on the other hand, was already on-board.
But yeah, if you watch the original Roxy special from '81 all you need to do is check out the scene where Jambi sings and there's no question that it's Paragon singing again at the end.
