I'll take Robin over Ed Harris any day!

Oh stop it! Just because Robin's dead you're gonna play this crap. I'm sorry Robin's passed but he was very effeminate in most of his roles. I don't know if you're a man or a woman but maybe effeminate men are your thing.

I found Robin's character more interesting than Ed Harris in this movie.

Out of curiosity though, you say Robin played effeminate characters. What does that have to do with what i said in my OP?

I love Robin, but there aren't many men I'd take over Ed Harris. Way back to "The Right Stuff". Robin has always seemed like friend material to me...not attractive in a romantic/sexual way. Great actor, miss him terribly though.

I don't think Robin Williams behaved effeminate in Dead Poet's Society; Good Will Hunting; Awakenings; Man of the Year; Good Morning, Viet Nam; or Patch Adams to name a few. (I'll give you Mrs. Doubtfire and The Bird Cage.)

You are entitled to your opinion, of course, no matter how misguided you may be. Perhaps you see effeminacy in his performances because you have unresolved issues and effeminate men are your thing. And, there's nothing wrong with that.

Her attraction to Ed Harris was that he looked like her dead husband. Robin Harris didn't have that going for him.
However, I liked his character better and thought he was MUCH better looking.

I would think Ed Harris certainly looks better than Robin does now.

Somebody who had a dead husband that looks nothing like him, clearly! 

Also, the character of Roger is kind of a jerk... Sure, he apologises, but from the getgo, he's nothing like the fun-loving Robin the world remembers.



Yeah his insta-bitterness that she had decided to go out with someone other than him was a bit of a turn off lol (even if, secretly, I'd probably act like that too in his position shhh)
