Anyone else having major withdrawals?

Or still really bummed out and depressed? I've never felt more of an emotional bond to a show and characters than this. I wish we had more, anything, like a comic or book. I've tried writing fanfiction but, dang, it's not the same.

Well obviously your are not alone or we wouldn't still be here 7 months after the finale.
Look at this: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/12/29/which-tv-show-that-ended-in-2016-will-you-miss-the-most

We could do a rewatch if you like and discuss about the episodes, that is fun to find out what others liked and observed because there is always so much to find out.

I've done a rewatch, not a complete one, but most of season 3 to the end of the series. And every time it still leaves a void.

I've recently rewatched seasons 1-3, will continue on with season 4 next week. Sadly I don't own the fifth season on Blu-ray because it hasn't come out yet in my country so I'm still holding out on watching the fourth season again. The first two seasons seemed better upon my second viewing. Easier to notice things that I did not catch when I watched them the first time.

It's amazing when I'm binge watching the show to see how well they handled the continuity within the show. Like how they were able to go back several years in every season and fill in the story behind some of the current events. You'd think they would miss something if they rearranged the backstory and seperated some storylines whole seasons apart. This show was always thorough with the details. I also like how characters come and go depending on the situation and not for the sake of it. I mean, sometimes it may have felt like Root was too forced in in some episodes of late season 3 but then again it was logical that she could reach out to the team and help them whenever they needed help since she was acting on the behalf of the machine.

Can't wait to start rewatching season 4, it was one of if not my favourite season when I first watched the show. I especially remember liking the war between Elias and the Brotherhood in season 4. Elias is one of my favourite characters on the show and he sat out most of season 3 and I honestly got more sad to see him die in season 5 than I did with Root. Saddest moment of the show would easily be John's death which is sort of the show's death. The last scene between him and Harold is probably the best final scene between main characters that I've ever watched in a TV show.

IMHO the saddest scene was when Sameen Shaw shed a tear for the first time in her life

Miss it a lot!!!

I doubt you'll find it, if you do let us know.
The first two Sherlock seasons were like that, but that were only six episodes.
For the procedural I found Flashpoint featuring Enrico Colantoni, for serial Bloodline was quite good.
The problem is that all the new shows try to create characters that are realistic and therefore mostly not very likeable. Is there a show that introduces characters you instantly care about although they are flawed? That might be the reason that it is missed so much.

By rewatching I meant that we could open a new thread and rewatch single episodes and then discuss them. Reddit had something like that but it stopped.

Not yet. I've been slowly watching my Fifth Season DVDs and still have four episodes to go.

reply

Only a little because I watch 2 episodes every Saturday on my local Fox affiliate.

They started at the beginning, we are now in season 3, episodes 5 & 6 will be on next Saturday (28th).

Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?

Just binged the last season. God. That was painful. Because the show was so good and now it's gone.

A couple of important characters cant come back. So...that's a bummer.

My friend urge me to watch the show in the fourth season and I just couldn't get into it. But I bought Hulu and started watching this from the beginning and I absolutely love it. Now it's probably my third favorite TV series of all times. Such a strong cast and I really thought it was interesting that most of the criminals got into trouble afterwards ju
