I really liked the 2nd episode. Putting the two guys in a basic scenario (picking up women at a bar) was more fun. Kevin Dillon busted out some Johnny Drama-esque lines, and him and the other guy are developing a chemistry and it didn't seem so forced like the pilot. This show has heart, and I look forward to watching regularly.

There won't be a next one. Just wait til the ratings come out later this morning and see how fast they announce RoE is taking it's place.

2nd ep was definitely better, and it was certainly watchable (compared to the pilot). Though there are still too many problems with the show for it to succeed. Dave Foley once again had by far the best line: "I'm irrelevant." I want so much for him to be relevant again. ;_; Someone transplant the character to another show. Or just put Dave and his coffee mug (which strangely appeared in the shape of a burger or something in this ep) in anything; he'll hold up his end of the bargain.
shareI was hoping for better, with Dave and Mary Lynn. I thought Dave was great in the first ep. I'm disappointed seeing Mary Lynn work with this forced humor. She deserves better.
But yes, the chemistry was much better in the 2nd. Kevin somehow makes his character work.
But what could be funnier than Mary Lynn in 24, being pressured to crack the DOD and she complains that they just added a new security layer using 1024 bit encryption with rotating passcodes and she's hacking it with a borrowed laptop over a coffee shop wi-fi?

It had to be for comic value ONLY.
1st episode was decent. It wasn't great.
2nd episode was easily 1000x better.
3rd episode was a good 500x better than the 2nd.
Too bad they canned this just as it starts to take off.
I totally agree. That first episode just killed any chance the show had. I don't know why I bothered to watch any more episodes, but I've now seen the first five and find that I wish there were more.
shareyeah i agree, the first eps was horrible. they should have just re-done the pilot before airing it. it's unfortunate.
