A 6.6?

Why is the rating so low? This is easily the best singing competition around. The judges know their stuff and the contestants can at least all carry a tune in the bucket. There aren't any purposely awful people unlike a lot of shows of this type.

That may be why. No diversity. Everyone is pretty much on the same plain (Noun). AND Everyone is pretty much Plain (adjective).

The noun is spelled plane.

It was supposed to be a pun, but it would have worked either way.

(thank you) Plain -noun- "I saw a Buffalo on the plain"

A lot of people really dislike shows like this. I'm not sure why as I can't get enough and thanks to Youtube follow competitions around the world, but to some its viewed as a waste of time.

Based on how this season has gone so far, they're not entirely wrong. Hopefully Season 12 improves.

I rated it much higher than that, but this season kinda feels like a 6.6 to me. The front runners are boring and disappointing. Billy Gilman should have this in the bag, but the country singer on his OWN team is killing him in terms of performance ability and emotion. Ali Caldwell sang "9 to 5," and it was.....meh? We McDonald's stage presence is holding her back, as well as her affected naivety.

For the first time I can remember the championship is wide open, that is the only reason I keep watching this season. I keep thinking Courtney Harrell is going to be the last one standing, and that would be the best upset in the show's history.

People really don't like these shows because it's basically one long glorified karaoke night. I love that though, hearing my favourite songs pop up from time to time is my favourite part of the show.
