Blake is pissed; demands more from Universal

So the Miley season that I boycotted is over. I'm back, b-tches.
When I was catching up on stories about the winner, I saw this quotation.
I respect that Blake is standing up for the dude and implying that Universal needs to step up to the plate. But imo he is giving too much validity to the trolls on boards like this one in which they say, "there are no stars from this show."

Blake went on to say, “This is the guy that I think can break the mold and become a star out of this show. And I give my word that I’ll put my work in, and I know [Sundance] will. This guy deserves to be a star, and there’s no excuses anymore. We need to make the record and put the work behind it that he deserves, to have this success that he deserves. And that has to start with Universal Records getting involved and behind him.

To be fair to Blake, the last contestant who won from his team left The Voice's record deal they gave him. I also think that if a coach pours themselves into their contestants after the show the contestant does better. Which is why Blake's contestants are the ones who have done best after the show.

Yeah, the article states that he is possibly pissed because Craig Wayne Boyd abandoned Universal partly because they didn't even give a full album to him.

I've read several articles were the artist doesn't like the restrictions the label puts on them. In fact some have stated The Voice was great for their career, but by not winning, they could pursue the type of music they wish.

Sundance and RaeLynn have signed on as the opening acts on Blake's 2017 tour. I'm glad he takes great care of his artists.

I think my favorite winner is Cassidy Pope. She hasn't hit it huge yet but I think she still has the best chance to become a superstar.
