A few questions.

1. Why was Michael Caine an American? 2. Why did he and his wife leave their children behind and move to France? 3. Were we supposed to find fault with the children in some way? They were the ones that were deserted by the parents. 4. What was the reason for the friction between the children and their father? 5. Are we supposed to believe an 80-something man transforms from walking feebly with a cane to dancing and going to fine restaurants with a young woman and has no sexual fancies on his mind? This was an interesting movie until about halfway through.
