Better than Shaun of the Dead

Absolutely fantastic movie. As someone who might have seen pretty much every zombie & zombie comedy movie out there I have to say that this is by far the best zombie comedy. Only Shaun of the Dead even comes close.

I don't think there was even one unfunny scene. Hilarious from beginning to end.
Those idiots out there rating the movie poorly are spoiling it for the others who would have seen it if it had a better rating.

Take my word and watch it. You cannot be disappointed.

certainly better than shaun of the dead (i say that carefully, the fans of that movie are rabid-if you dont think their favorite movie is funny, it's because of your lack of humour, not the movies fault at all).....is it the BEST zomedy? well, AAAH ZOMBIES might be tie for most funny.....i rate both at 10 out of 10, along with exit humanity, warm bodies, zombieland, romero's day of the dead and his night of the living dead, hide and creep, and romero's diary of the dead....of the 54 i've watched, only those get 10 out of 10

Warm bodies... Really?

I wouldn't go that far but they are neck to neck in my book. Both are really good and quite hysterical.

Better than Shaun? Not in a million years, but enjoyable all the same.

LOL! Let's see if we can totally rip off Shaun of the Dead, then tart it up with a touch of Cuban political satire.
You cannot be disappointed.
Runs out of bite very quickly.🐭

I wouldn't say it was better--it's kind of raggedy and choppy in spots and some of the SFX are a little low-rent, for example, but they had a lot less money to work with than the people who made "Shaun"--but overall it's pretty much right up there with it. It's very, very funny and the two guys who play Juan and his sidekick are terrific (and the actress who plays Juan's daughter is WAY hotter than any of the women in "Shaun"). I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I thought it was a pretty impressive accomplishment considering what little money they had and the resources they had to work with.

Not better than Shaun of the Dead but definitely one of the better new wave zombie flicks.

And Dennis Berkamp was awesome in his prime. Saw him score at Highbury once.
