Did many of you find this movie funny?

It barely made me smile a few times; not that the gags and situations had no potential, it's just that there have been SO MANY zombie movies that you can see all jokes coming a mile away... I thought that other than the unusual stage for the story this movie would try a few twists on such a beaten subject but no luck

Even the dialogue was not witty at all, I found. I'm Spanish so I mean the actual lines, not the subtitles.

All posts on this board seem to be positive so maybe it's just me

I thought it was just OK. You are right that much of it was cliched and some of the choices the characters made were beyond nonsensical. I did laugh at the stereotype of the american because I've known people almost exactly like that. FWIW, I watched the dub, which I don't normally do, because the original audio on the bluray sounded like it was recorded in an empty room.

Hermano, yo me partí de la risa con la película. No porque la comedia fuese muy buena o porque no repitieran una y otra vez los clichés de las películas de zombies, sino por todos los comentarios acerca de la realidad cubana que hicieron. Me parece que cada vez que hacían ese tipo de comedia, daban en el blanco.
La película tiene muchas fallas, es verdad, y no tanto presupuesto, pero es un excelente intento.
